The mission of the Peralta Report is to provide the public with Unbiased and principled news coverage of the Peralta Colleges, ensuring the district improves its educational services to the community.
This website compiles all election related articles focusing on the 2010 Peralta Colleges election.
Purpose
The purpose of this website, Peralta Colleges Election 2010 is to explain the basics of the Peralta Colleges and the Peralta Board of Trustees. This site includes information such as the Membership of the Peralta Board and the Areas, or geographic regions the Peralta Trustees are elected from.
Besides a section outlining all the candidates, there are individual candidate pages with links to their websites. Additionally, there is section about recent and current issues facing the Peralta board and a page of media analysis critiquing news coverage of the elections.

While you will find a section dedicated to stories about endorsements, you will not find any original endorsements on this website.
About the Editor
The Peralta Report and the Peralta Elections 2010 website was created by Reginald James, a Laney College student and former editor-in-chief of the Laney Tower newspaper. James is also a former student member of the Peralta Board of Trustees, having been elected and reelected to serve two one-year terms.
